Medu Vada is a well-known South India breakfast dish which is deep fried, however this recipe offers you with a more healthy model as these vadas are baked. Elements:

1 ½ cup Urad Dal, soaked
1 Inexperienced Chilli
1 inch Ginger
5-6 Ice Cubes
Salt as per style
1 tsp Black Pepper
A pinch of Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp Coriander, chopped



Recipe:

Soak the urad dal for half-hour (not)
In a mixer blender add soaked dal, ginger, inexperienced chili and few ice cubes. Mix it properly and make a thick paste.
Switch this paste right into a mixing bowl, add chopped onions, salt, black pepper powder, baking powder, baking soda & give it combine. (Tip: take a bowl of water and drop a small ball of batter into it, if it floats then the consistency of the batter is ideal)
Place a parchment paper on the baking tray, apply coconut oil.
Now apply little water in your fingers and take a small portion of batter and place it at equal distance on the baking tray.
Make a gap, with the assistance of your finger to provide it the form of a medu vada.
Now brush the vada with coconut oil.
In a pre-heated oven bake the vadas at 180C for round 20 minutes (15 minutes one aspect and 5 min on the opposite aspect).
Serve with coconut chutney.
