Tikki's are an all-time favourite snack recipe amongst all age teams, so we tried to provide it a wholesome & colourful twist with beetroot. It is a very modern solution to make your little ones eat veggies. On the identical time, it additionally makes for an excellent tiffin recipe.

Components

1 Beetroot

1 tbsp Oil -

1 tsp Cashew Nuts, chopped

1 Onion, thinly sliced

2 Inexperienced Chillies , finely chopped

1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste

1 tsp Salt

½ tsp Cumin Powder

½ tsp Garaall objective flowerm Masala

½ tsp Chaat Masala

4-5 Potatoes, medium sized boiled & mashed

2 tbsp Inexperienced Peas, boiled

Coriander Leaves, chopped

2 tbsp All-purpose Flour

3 tbsp Water

½ cup Semolina

½ cup Cornflakes

Oil for shallow frying



Methodology

Grate the beetroot and hold it apart

In a pan, add some oil, add cashew nuts and roast them nicely

Add onions, inexperienced chilies and saute

Add ginger-garlic paste and saute

Add the grated beetroot and saute until they're cooked

Add the boiled potatoes and mash all the pieces nicely. Add coriander leaves, peas and blend all the pieces nicely. Switch to a bowl.

Make small patties from it and hold it apart.

Combine maida with water and make a semi thick slurry.

Dip the patties within the slurry combination. Roll it in semolina or cornflakes and put aside.

Shallow fry the patties until they're brown in shade. Serve the Beetroot cutlets with coriander chutney.
