A woman was left disgusted on New Yr’s Day after she allegedly discovered a snail in her roast dinner she bought from a Toby Carvery.
Chloe Walshaw and her boyfriend ordered two meals from the restaurant to be delivered on Uber Eats on January 1 and was tucking in when she says she noticed the snail in her peas.
The 24-year-old school worker says she spat the meals out when she noticed the snail on her knife and contacted the restaurant which has now apologised and supplied a refund.
Chloe stated she has now been supplied a £40 voucher by Toby Carvery which has requested for the meals again to allow them to examine additional.

Chloe, from Dudley, instructed Birmingham Live : “I felt actually bodily sick. I used to be half-way by way of.
“I ordered it to be delivered on Uber Eats from Toby Carvery Burnt Tree Island for me and my boyfriend.
“We every had a carvery and have been despatched turkey and beef. It was the primary time I ordered from there, I usually go in to eat however I used to be having a lazy day. I’ve by no means actually had an issue with them previously.
“I used to be getting meals on my fork and I believed I’ll have a little bit of peas and I dug down within the peas and that’s once I noticed it.

“I ended consuming and spat the meals out that I had in my mouth and stated to my boyfriend ‘I’m not consuming that’, I instructed him to look and my boyfriend stated ‘I’m not consuming it both’.

“I referred to as them up and the lady that answered the cellphone stated contact Uber Eats to get a refund and he or she’ll notify the chef and I emailed the pictures over and so they requested to provide me a name.
“Uber Eats have given me a refund, it was £20.63.”
However Chloe stated: “I’m by no means going there once more. I used to go frequently however after that I don’t assume I’ll ever return.”
A probe is now underway at Tipton’s Burnt Tree Island.
