With a hue as yellow as Emma Wiggle's bow and a topping of roasted candy potato and finely desiccated coconut, this recipe (a tweaked model of Anna Jones' dahl) is one-pot fantastic.

Dahl's mushy texture allowed for straightforward self-feeding, the spinach was cleverly disguised among the many lentils and my very hungry daughter (nay, caterpillar) went wild for it.

The not-so-good information? Turmeric doesn't come off your kid's garments simply. Hers are nonetheless soaking. 

Thursday: Broccoli salad with peas and pasta

Friday: Pizza evening
